This page contains software and utilities created by Dada Typo, primarily for Internet use. The older, depricated software listed at the bottom of the page was based on a now-archaic version of the scripting system called Frontier. Most software development currently underway in the studio is based on a Dada Typo-developed PHP framework, described below.
Manifesto is a content management system for constructing and managing entire websites. It provides a single SQL database access API, built-in classes for Date munging, Error handling, Role-based authentication and user accounts, and a variety of modules for almost any type of content you can dream up.
There are a number of plug-in "modules", or pre-configured applications built using this framework. They include:

The following software programs are listed for purely historical preservation. Their pages are still available, but the products will no longer be supported by Dada Typo. They were powerful Frontier-based solutions built under Frontier 4.x, which was freely downloadable software. It was not cost effective to continue their support or development after the rather expensive commercial release of Frontier 5. If someone wants to adapt them for use under the current version of Frontier, feel free!
A full-featured management Frontier suite for ListSTAR.
Faster, more complete, more expansive, and sporting an entirely new interface. listTools covers all basic ListSTAR scripting functions, and expands both capability and speed significantly. The current version requires at least ListSTAR 1.1 and Frontier 4.2.
A handy Frontier suite for Mac Webmasters serving multiple domains.
This software allows you to use AIMS to serve mail to several domains using the same username, e.g. "info@companyX.com" and "info@companyY.com". New version 1.2!
Remote site editing from within your web browser. It allows HTML page editing, and file and folder creation/deletion from within any forms-capable web browser. This new version supports multiple users, each with their own restricted directory access.
A Frontier suite primarily for shareware authors. Registrar uses a concise interface to allow shareware authors to create a database of their shareware products and the users who download them. Registrar creates a registration web page on the fly and asks users to enter their name and email address. Also contains an easy-to-use interface for creating new announcements and press releases, automatically mailing them off to all registered users.
